The Mamaruga Podma is a unique, comfortable half buckle carrier with a removable buckled waist that you can easily convert into a Podaegi: a waistless tie on carrier where you tuck the 'blanket' up under your child's bottom and pin them in the carrier with the straps. It is soft and flexible like a woven wrap with the speed of a buckled carrier.

The wide straps can cup your shoulders and spread widely on your back in front carries and be spread across your chest for more support in back carries. The waistband is lightly padded.
To fit a newborn, wear high on the waist, narrow the panel and roll the waistband twice or three times before clipping on. Check the width again to be as narrow as possible then resume the carry as normal.
