Here are the types of sessions we offer, see what suits you!...

 

Fit Check - £10 (Session lasts 20 minutes).

  • This is for a fit check of your own carrier.
  • All fit checks are at Carry My Baby in Gumley, Leicestershire (LE16 7RU).

 

One to One Consultation* - £44 for a 2 hour session.

  • Includes a 1 week hire of any carrier.
  • Session takes place at Carry my Baby in Gumley, Leicestershire (LE16 7RU).
  • £10 off the price of a new carrier (excludes stretchy wraps, ring slings and the Dracomom Hatchling carrier).

 

Home Visit One to One Consultation* - £59 for a 2 hour session.

  • Includes a 1 week hire of any carrier.
  • Session takes place in your own home (within the Leicestershire area).
  • £10 off the price of a new carrier (excludes stretchy wraps, ring slings and the Dracomom Hatchling carrier).

 

Consultation Plus* - £54 for a 2 hour session, plus a follow up 1 hour session within a 3 month period.

  • Includes a 1 week hire of any carrier.
  • Session takes place at Carry my Baby in Gumley, Leicestershire (LE16 7RU).
  • £10 off the price of a new carrier (excludes stretchy wraps, ring slings and the Dracomom Hatchling carrier).
  • This session is great if you want a carrier that is suited to newborns to begin with but then want to explore other options once your baby is a little older.

 

Home Visit Consultation Plus* - £69 for a 2 hour session, plus a follow up 1 hour session within a 3 month period.

  • Includes a 1 week hire of any carrier. 
  • The initial 2 hour session takes place in your own home (within the Leicestershire area), the follow up session is at Carry my Baby in Gumley, Leicestershire (LE16 7RU).
  • £10 off the price of a new carrier (excludes stretchy wraps, ring slings and the Dracomom Hatchling carrier).
  • This session is great if you want a carrier that is suited to newborns to begin with but then want to explore other options once your baby is a little older.

 

Bump to Baby* - £44 for two separate 1 hour sessions.

  • Includes a 1 week hire of any carrier. 
  • Session takes place at Carry my Baby in Gumley, Leicestershire (LE16 7RU).
  • £10 off the price of a new carrier (excludes stretchy wraps, ring slings and the Dracomom Hatchling carrier).
  • Specially designed for parents to be - Come for the first session before your baby arrives to learn about the benefits of babywearing and to look at some of the many types of carrier available. Then once your baby has arrived come back when you're ready to get fitted with the right carrier for you!

​Sling Hire
Priced at £15 per carrier per week (plus a deposit which is fully refunded upon return of the carrier).
Hiring gives you time to give the carrier a good road test, and we can tweak any issues along the way. If you love the carrier we stock almost all of them for you to buy. Using our consultation and hire service allows you to try out some of the many carriers available on the market today, and make a much more confident decision on which could be right for you as carriers can be a significant investment. Hire carriers must be collected from us or from a pop up.
Our carriers available for hire are as follows, we have limited numbers so the exact carrier you'd like to try might not be available immediately, but there are usually alternatives!

Sling Library 
As a sling library we offer pop up sessions each month in different locations giving you the chance to come and have a quick chat about your baby carrier and any problems you may be having with it, look at and try the carriers and slings we stock, and find out more about our services! Hires may be possible depending on availability of the particular sling you are interested in. Please keep an eye out on facebook and Instagram for our next pop up!

 

*So what is a consultation? Sounds a bit fancy right? Well, its really simple and actually really great! 

If you are local to us booking in for a one to one consultation means that you are getting a private session with a trained, fully insured baby wearing consultant. We can even come to your house! During the consultation you get to have a look at and try on lots of different types and brands of carrier. By doing this you can see which carriers or slings you and your baby find most comfortable and suitable for your needs. We cover sling safety and how to use the carriers correctly and optimise comfort.
